     Vehicle Factory, Jabalpur established in 1969 is a dedicated manufacturing unit to meet 'Transport Needs' of the Armed Forces.

       Currnent product range includes 2.5 Ton LPTA-713, 2 KL Water Bowser and 5/7.5 Ton Stallion Mk-III vehilces, designed to operate in extreme climatic & terrain conditions from snow bound mountains to sand dunes.

        Manufacturing facilities include State-of-the-Art CNC machines and SPMs for manufacturing Transmission Components, Fabricated Items, Chassis Frame & Body etc in addition to Vehicle Assembly Lines.

       Besides General Staff (GS) Vehicles, following specialist role vehicles have also been developed and are under induction process of the Indian Army :-

  • Water Bowser 5 KL
  • Field Ambulance 4 Stretcher - AC version
  • Light recovery Vehicle - LRV
  • Kitchen Container

       VFJ is also producing  High Technology Bullet Proof Vehicles such as Light Armoured Wheeled Vehicle &  Mine Protected Vehicles.
